Import chart of accounts

In order to import your own chart of accounts the file must be in the CSV format (comma Seperated Values)

To preview how to layout your file

The 'Account type' column must be completed. You can do this by using the relevant number 1 - 5:-

1. Profit and loss
2. Balance sheet
3. Totalfrom
4. Heading
5. Heading break
6. Totalintervals

You can them complete the 'Key figure code' column with a number 1 - 21:-

1. Turnover
2. Variable costs
3. Direct pay
4. Other direct costs
5. Overheads
6. Depreciation/Amortisation
7. Financial items
8. Extraordinary items
9. Company tax
10. Fixed assets
11. Stock/work in progress
12. Customers
13. Other current assets
14. Cash at bank and in hand
15. Capital and reserves
16. Private contributions/drawings
17. Provisions
18. Long-term liabilities
19. Credit institutions
20. Suppliers
21. Other short-term liabilities

Already created accounts are not imported or changed.

If you have not created VAT codes already they are created automatically whem importing the chart of accounts. Remember to adjust the VAT codes in the Settings tab menu.
