Extra tabs in E-conomic
If you use the E-conomic API add-on module (it's free) then you have the opportunity to create additional tabs in your E-conomic system.
This feature is especially useful for external systems that are integrated with E-conomic such as "dashboard" solutions, etc.
You can now view these systems via a specialized tab directly in E-conomic, which means you do not have to continually switch back and forth between E-conomic and another system in another window.
To add an extra tab in E-conomic
When you have activated the API add-on module:
- Click 'Settings'> 'Extra tabs'
- Click the icon "Create Tab"
- Fill in the fields (details about the fields below)
- Click 'OK'
- Now your new tab will appear at the top of your system:

| Name | Here you give your new tab a name (this will appear on the tab, so you may want to keep it short. |
| URL | Here you can enter the URL of the website that you would like to show when you click the tab (copy the website address as you see it in the browser bar, e.g. http://www.e-conomic.co.uk) |
