Inserting a logo on documents


E-conomic’s template collection contains templates for invoices, statements of account, credit notes, order confirmations, reminders and quotations. All of these are based on the ‘letter template’ where you can define company-specific information and a logo.

To import and insert a logo:

  1. Save the logo as a JPG, GIF or PDF file on your computer

    Importing image:
  2. Select the Sales tab, then the menu option ‘Design and layout’
  3. Click ‘Image archive’ above the list area
  4. Click ‘New image’
  5. Click ‘Browse’ and select the previously saved image (click Open’)
  6. Enter the desired name
  7. Click ‘OK’
  8. Return to the template collection by clicking the link above the list area.

    Inserting the logo:
  9. Click ‘Letterheads’ above the list area
  10. Click the ‘Layout’ icon to the right
  11. Click the ‘Edit’ icon to the right of row one, ‘Image logo (CompanyName)’
  12. Edit the fields Details
  13. Click ‘OK’
  14. Click ‘Show with demo figures’ above the list area to view the result

Details about the fields

Field Action
Type Select ‘Image’
Placement Select the pages the logo should appear on
X pos. The logo’s placement measured (in millimetres) from the left edge of the paper
Y pos. The logo’s placement measured (in millimetres) from the top edge of the paper
W/ H (mm) Enter logo size (in millimetres). The system automatically calculates the height based on the width and logo size
Image Select the logo
