Link products/services to subscription types
In addition to editing, copying and deleting subscription types, the icons on the right enable you to:
- ‘Link products/services’: Link products/services to subscription types
- ‘Show subscribers’: Link new and see current subscribers to a given subscription type
Note: once products/services or customers are linked to the subscription, they cannot be deleted.
How to link products/services to subscription types
Once the subscription types are defined, products/services can be linked to them.
To link products/services to subscription types:
- Click ‘Sales’ > ‘Customers’ > ‘Subscriptions’
- Click the ‘Link products/services’ icon to the right
- Click ‘New product/service’
- Edit the fields Details
- Click ‘OK’

Details about the fields:
| Field | Action |
|---|---|
| Product number | Enter the desired number or select a product by clicking the ‘…’ (search) icon. |
| Product name | The name is suggested but can be edited. Note that it will appear on the invoice. |
| Quantity | The number of products/services in an invoice period. E.g., for a quarterly subscription of a product delivered monthly, enter ‘3’. |
| Special price | This price will be selected instead of the product list price when invoicing. |
